Key discussions included updates on water diplomacy efforts at the Stockholm Water Week and the Budapest Water Summit 2019, emphasizing initiatives such as youth engagement, the Sahel region, the Blue Peace Index, and the Geneva List of Principles on Water and Peace. Dr. Danilo Türk, Chairman of the Global High-Level Panel, led an interactive session on converting policy recommendations into actions.
A new project titled ‘Water and Peace Voice’ was introduced to amplify voices in water diplomacy. The meeting concluded with plans for future actions and a celebratory cocktail reception.
