UPWCD second coordination meeting
Le Partenariat universitaire pour la coopération et la diplomatie de l'eau (UPWCD) a organisé sadeuxième réunion de coordination le 3 mars 2021, réunissant 40 participants de 27 institutions. Un certain nombre d'actions ont été convenues pour cristalliser l'esprit du partenariat et le traduire en un travail commun réel. De nouvelles initiatives de recherche conjointes, des publications sur des sujets de recherche d'intérêt commun, des initiatives de co-formation et d'enseignement ainsi que des recherches de financement, des programmes d'échange d'enseignants et d'étudiants et des événements publics ont été au cœur de leurs efforts de réflexion.
Water professionals who would have otherwise never met agreed to combine their resources and increase their impact on their target audiences. It is by working together that like-minded institutions in the field of water cooperation and diplomacy will make a difference, enhance scientific knowledge and capacities, contribute to the public debate on, and introduce rigorous science into, related dialogues and deliberation processes.
