9th World Water Forum - Ordinary Session - Preventing conflicts by facilitating dialogue and cooperation on transboundary water resources

This session focuses on existing tools and means to ensure peace, catalyze sustainable development and prevent conflicts by facilitating dialogue and cooperation over transboundary water resources. Through various water diplomacy approaches, it brings together representatives of States, international organizations, river basin organizations as well as civil society groups to share good practices on the sustainable management of transboundary water resources as an instrument of cooperation and peace.
