The third Blue Peace Talk is dedicated to the role of the private sector and its innovative capacity to tackle current challenges in the water and sanitation sector. Businesses and entrepreneurs can contribute effectively to develop and/or apply efficient and sustainable solutions for drinking water supply and sanitation services and implement measures to reduce competing water use at basin-level. The talk will explore the enabling mechanisms, challenges and good practices through which the private sector can contribute to the objectives set out in SDG 6 and SDG 16, specifically how action in the water & sanitation sector can help achieve more peaceful societies.
