Rules of Water - Rules of Life

The First International Forum "Rules of Water, Rulesw for Life" (ROW), organized under the auspices of the Italian G7 Presidency 2017, is an annual event on water as a multi-faceted phenomenon and key element of sustainable development. "Rules of Water, Rulesw for Life" programme focuses on two main crucial aspects related to water: urban water governance and gender-related aspects of water. The conference, promoted by Milan Center for Food Law and Policy, benefited from the scientific support of OECD Water Governance Programme and UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme.

On this occasion, we are proud to announce that our colleague, Dr Mara Tignino, Geneva Water Hub and University of Geneva Faculty of Law Senior Lecturer, as well as Coordinator of the Platform for International Water Law, has been selected to receive the “Women Peacebuilders for Water Award”. Mara has been recognized for her efforts and commitment in emphasizing the importance of environmental law with a special focus on water as its unavoidable aspect.
