Water and peace, at the heart of the upcoming "Festival A Sahel Ouvert" in Senegal

The Festival is a partner of the initiative "Voix du Fleuve, Voie de la Paix" as a preamble to the World Water Forum which will take place in Dakar (March 21-26 2022) and in partnership with numerous artists from several countries.

The project will be carried by artists within the fields of music, cinema, theatre and photography. A music album with the name of the initiative and calling for the commitment for water and peace between peoples was produced with world-renowned artists from the four riparian countries of the Senegal river.

The artist and international figure Baaba Maal contributed to this album and, as a sponsor of the project, will be committed to engage a dialogue with the local populations of the Fouta region.
