<p>This is the 3<sup>rd</sup> webinar in the webinar series organized by <a href="https://www.iitg.ac.in/" target="_blank">IIT Guwahati</a> with support from <a href="https://www.un-ihe.org/dupc2-ihe-delft-partnership-programme-water-and-development" target="_blank">DGIS UNESCO‐IHE Programmatic Cooperation</a> (DUPC) and in collaboration with <a href="https://www.watercentre.org/" target="_blank">Australia India Water Centre</a> (AIWC), <a href="https://upwcd.org/" target="_blank">Universities Participation for Water Cooperation and Diplomacy</a>&nbsp;(UPWCD), and the <a href="https://iacrr.org/" target="_blank">International Association for Costal Reservoir Research</a> (IACRR). One of the objectives of the webinar series is to encourage the introduction of water diplomacy courses in technical institutes.</p>

<p>This webinar will focus on <strong>Gender and Hydrodiplomacy</strong>, with our lead water specialist Eng. Natasha Carmi. The role of gender in hydrodiplomacy is under-studied, and there is a need for the empowerment, in particular of the role of women in water diplomacy and water cooperation decision making and negotiations.</p>
