Imagine Blue Peace Semifinalist - “Blue Justice: Water between its Scarcity and Resilience”, a visual book

Following the 2019 Youth for Water and Peace Platform call for contributions, we are proud to feature the first semi-finalist in the “Visual Art” category: “Blue Justice: Water between its Scarcity and Resilience” by Stephanye Zarama Alvarado.

Title: “Blue Justice: Water between its Scarcity and Resilience”

This book is designed to inform about the importance of water as an instrument of peace on our planet, providing basic background information on water illustrated by pictures and poetry. Especially, it aims to explain how water sustains life, as well as outlining why water is at a high risk of contamination that may influence the health of humans and the necessity of its urgent conservation.
